Leopard Print

Asos cropped tee, shorts and belt

Nothing beats a nice stand-out print to brighten your mood a little when the weather is so dreary. I think winter is well and truly here (Autumn has definitely been bypassed!) Leopard print is always a classic choice and the key is to always team it with subtle shapes and colours to ensure it's the main focus of your outfit. Too much going on can always border on tacky when this print is involved. Until next time catch up with me on Twitter and Pinterest

Blue

H&M jumper, Mango skirt, Carvela at Kurt Geiger boots, Urban Outfitters sock, Accessorize necklace

The rain seems to be endless at the moment and that certainly puts limitations on places to take photographs; I'm afraid as a result I have been confined to my room again. Today I'm going to be travelling and, for me, that has never meant that style has to come second to comfort (although possibly joint!) I find it quite easy to be stylish yet comfortable and this striped jumper has certainly helped in achieving  a combination of both. I only wonder if my legs might be a little chilly? Flying Away

American Apparel Cape, Topshop jeans, loafers and necklace, Asos shirt

My cape doesn't make nearly as many appearances as it should as it's such a fun yet core item in my wardrobe. I suppose the less often you bring a piece out the more special and exciting it becomes. I put this rather statement necklace on with my shirt in an effort to bling things up a little and decided it looked a bitlike a jazzier version of a Texas necktie: thoughts?

New Discoveries

Zara shirt and bag, American Apparel jeans, Topshop shoes, Vintage scarf

Since buying my Louis Vuitton Speedy back in May the other bags in my closet have somewhat been lacking attention. I adore my Louis, although, difficulty in finding things in it is somewhat of an understatement. At which point I have re-discovered this beautiful, tan leather bag from Zara. The colour is perfect, the detail  perpetual and the size is amazing for girls like me who love to carry all those unnecessary items around. Variety is the spice of life and my sartorial thinking has never been more incongruous. Until next time catch up with me on Twitter and Pinterest

Now that I have returned from my final summer holiday, I feel ready to embrace the coming season and so, naturally, I've put together a wish list of all the lovely pieces I'd like to fill my wardrobe with. For me, summer is all about simplicity and so, for autumn, I like to invest in pieces that are a little more adventurous when it comes to colour, texture and print. I've had my eye on these oriental floral cigarette pants from Topshop for quite some time now and I am hoping that they will be mine very, very soon. Actually, I'm wishing that it will all be mine however, this feels slightly less realistic!

It's always good to balance such statement pieces with something a little more timeless and I've been dreaming about the Mulberry Mini Effie tote since it hit the shops a few months ago. I also love to work berry shades into my wardrobe during autumn; it may seem a little obvious and reoccurring but, against the backdrop of the crisp autumn leaves, to me it has never felt more current.
